Our future is limitless

Change is inevitable. I don't believe that anything is predestined or determined, except change. And the seed of this liberating realization was planted by Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower and her character Lauren words:
All that you touch
You Change.
All that you Change
Changes you.
The only lasting truth
Is Change.
God Is Change.
So nothing lasts forever, but that allows for limitless possibilities. And when we let go of what we cannot change or face and accept what is true and real, we can bloom.
These ideas are actually woven into a song I'm releasing soon as part of an EP called "Castles 2.0". I sing:
I tried and I tried
To keep it all the same
There's only one thing that I know is sure
Everything will change, everything will change
The [modified] serenity prayer really helps me here:
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
